Cha Tae-hyun's 'Your Personal Taxi' to premiere globally on Netflix, FOD

A healing music drama starring Cha Tae-hyun — a staple of K-dramas and Korean entertainment — will reach global audiences in October through Netflix and Japan’s popular streaming service FOD.

"Your Personal Taxi" is a feel-good series set inside a mysterious taxi that operates exclusively by reservation. The series unfolds the extraordinary stories of its passengers, soundtracked by their personal song requests.

The cast is anchored by Cha, known for his roles in hit K-dramas like "Moving" and "The Producer." The show also stars Joo Jong-hyuk and Lim Se-mi, alongside Olympic short-track speed skating medalist Kwak Yoon-gy.

All eight episodes are slated to drop simultaneously on Netflix and FOD on Oct. 1. FOD is a Japanese streaming and digital publishing platform operated by Fuji Television, one of the country’s major broadcasters.

The production also set a record as the first drama series ever invited to the official program of the Jecheon International Music and Film Festival. Founded in 2005, JIMFF is an international film festival dedicated to exploring the intersection of cinema and music, with its 2026 edition held from Sept. 3 to Tuesday.
